Board of Trustees
The Library Trustees are elected for three year terms to determine library policy, appoint the Director, submit budget requests, and oversee the expenditure of funds.
The Board of Trustees annually elects a President, Vice-President, Treasurer and Secretary.
Chapter 78, section 11 of the Massachusetts General Laws states “The Board shall have the custody and management of the library and reading room and all property owned by the town relating thereto.”
