About the Gallery

Rockland Memorial Library displays the work of local artists in a gallery space in the library's rotunda. The program is called Art in the Rotunda. The rotunda is one of Rockland's architectural jewels, according to gallery organizer Karen Haffner. The beauty of the space enhances the experience of viewing the many interesting displays we have shown.

There are currently openings for artists who wish to display their works. Rotunda exhibits are usually on display for a month, and many artists choose to have a reception so they can meet their patrons and members of the public.
